"I write to invite others to reflect on the surprising grace of God by pointing to ordinary moments when God's grace breaks in with power to heal the world."
"Following where my best words lead me."
John P. Leggett
What Is Kairos Time?
The Greek language has two words for time: The first is chronos, which is a word that describes the ordinary passing of time. It's the root of our word chronology.
The second word for time is kairos. This is a time that teems with possibility. It describes times when we are alive to what God is up to around us, where the curtain pulls back and you catch a glimpse of God’s dreams for this world that God loves.
I hope to train my heart to notice when chronos time becomes a kairos moment–a time pregnant with opportunity.
